on right now. this fire happened on bridge port court in san jose. the building effected is at the very end of this court to the left. you can see some of the fire trucks still out here. right now investigators are going through the apartment where this fire happened. combing through some of the evidence. trying to get some information to figure out how this fire started. it broke out around 11:00 last night. three people perished in the fire. according to several neighbors we talked to this morning the people who died were two grandparents and their granddaughter. they estimate she was about five years old. now the fire started and was mostly contained to the second story apartment building where the family was living. according to the neighbors we talk to the grandparents, mother and father and several children all lived in the apartment unit together. some of the family members escaped but the grandparents and the young girl did not make it out. neighbors who rushed outside during the fire said they could tell the family was frantically trying to get help. >> the window is broken and the
